About Us

Vegan East is a vegan bakery located in downtown White Bear Lake, Minnesota. After serving as an in-home bakery for several years we will open our storefront doors to the public on February 10th. We create vegan cakes, cupcakes, cookies, muffins, rolls and cheesecakes, with several gluten-free options. Place an order in advance or stop in and see us. We look forward to meeting you!

 Vegan East is located inside the Avalon Mall (formerly Avalon Theater) at 2179 4th Street, White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

 Vegan East joins a vast group of downtown White Bear Lake businesses including  Big Wood Brewery ,  Go Johnny Go Records  & the  Lakeshore Players Theatre , among many others.

 The space where Vegan East now resides formally housed the Avalon Tea Room. The building was constructed in 1930 and was home to the 320 seat Avalon Theater whose original wall can be seen in the background.
